March we went to Cali for Rory's sister's surprise birthday. She didn't know we were coming out so it was very exciting to see her cry when we all showed up at her home. Her hubby was the one who planned it 3 months in advance and didn't tell the kids...love them but they would have spoiled it.
I love the beach! This is all us girls at the beach. (It wasn't a hazy day but the camera lens was touched by baby Caitlyn.)
We were rushed because we had to decorate for the surprise party.
This was the funniest experience I've ever been in...We rented this nifty 'bike' at the Golden Gate Park. All 8 adults and 3 children fit...not comfortably. The outside people would peddle. Everyone was yelling for the others to peddle. I couldn't stop laughing. While I didn't peddle much I did hold the baby and that was a lot of work too ya know.
Rory and I had the experience to visit Alcatraz. It was very interesting to see all the history and the many different parts of the island.
And finally on this trip I was went to Ghirardelli Square. They have some amazing ice cream.(Rory's Favorite)
