Thanksgivng Miracle

Wednesday November 26(the day before thanksgiving) we thought we were on a good start to our vacation to San Fransico but then as soon as we enter North Las Vegas we did a complete 180. The traffic was horrible and to make matters worse there was construction(no surprise) and it was raining(which it hardly ever does). As we spend 1 hour in traffic ducking in and out of cars praying we could make it to the airport in time. Just when we thought we made it to the airport with 20 min till our flight was leaving and there was a small chance we could make it but... we still needed to park. As we were making our way to the economy parking lot the roads were wet and as we go around a corned my car completly spins out of control and we hit a low median and all I could do was continue on driving in hopes that we can make our flight. I park, we jump, and sprint to the buses. The bus pulls up to the airport Rory waits to get the bags I run through the crowded airport, in heels, to check us in. When Rory catches up lugging my 65 pound bag, we then run through security and RUN to our gate and as we arrive we walk straight onto the plane. It was a miracle we made it. As Rory kept saying that it will be a miracle if we make it i was trying to stay positive but all I could think was I NEED THIS VACATION!GET OUT OF MY FREAKIN' WAY.

Next year, maybey leave a few minutes later and it would make it another adventure-to see if you can make it to San Francisco. We love you guys and my kids sure love their Aunt Katie.
